Over the past few days, I’ve started to notice everything I’ll miss when I leave Paris.
I know… it’s a somewhat negative perspective.
But I’m adopting this mindset intentionally because I want to make the most of my last week in Europe, and more specifically, in Paris.
In particular, I am going to miss the incredible boulangerie-patisseries the most when I return to the United States. Since I’ve had this epiphany, I have been on a determined mission to make sure I don’t miss out on anything important.
Yesterday, I had my first authentic French macaron. Today, my first authentic French éclair. I also had chausson aux pommes, Kouign Amann, pain au chocolat, and a madeleine.
But this is merely just a start. There’s still so much more to eat.
From here on out, no baguette gets left behind…
